How ordering works
HOW IT WORKS
You decide what size of rhino you would like to adopt – a Daddy (large), Mama (medium) or Baby (small) rhino. You then add the rhino to your cart, choose either “surprise me” or “send options” regarding the material design and once payment has been made we will email a list of the material options available to choose from at that current moment (the reason for this is because all our material gets donated to us and we can’t always guarantee that we will get the same material twice) Once you have chosen a material design it takes about 10 working days to make and ship off to you.
If you don’t mind what the material design is and you want us to choose one for you, you can choose the option “surprise me” in the drop-down box when you order.
You can also choose from our online orphans. They have already been made and can be shipped immediately.
You then let us know who you would like us to donate the money to and once we have received payment and the rhino has been made, we post a picture of the rhino and your donation on our Facebook page. You will then receive a certificate of gratitude from the organisation/s you have chosen to donate to at a later stage.

Step 3: Choose your Beneficiary of choice HERE or choose the “Adopt A Rhino – Donate To A Child” option (read below)
Step 4: Get excited to receive your newly adopted Rhino!

- Postage is not included in the price of the adoption. This can be quoted for you once we know where you are located.

Adopt A Rhino – Donate to A Child
You can also opt for the “Adopt A Rhino – Donate To A Child” programme where the process of choosing the material and the organisation your money goes to remains the same, however the actual rhino we will donate to a young child in a rural area surrounding a Game Reserve during one of our Education and Awareness drives for Raising Rhino People.
ADOPTION COSTS AND DONATIONS:
Please see below the rates and donation breakdown for each rhino adopted, as well as more information on postage options.
The Rhino’s can be adopted at the following rates.(EXCLUDING postage)
*Large (Daddy) Rhino – R700 of which R400 is donated and R300 goes towards our Raising Rhino People project and basic expenses.
*Medium (Mamma) Rhino – R400 of which R250.00 is donated and R150 is kept for basic costs.
*Small (Baby) Rhino – R250 of which R50 is donated to The Rhino Orphanage and R200 goes towards our Raising Rhino People project.
Rhino’s can be ordered through our online shop where you can choose your material and size of the rhino. We will also post Rhino’s that are already made and available for immediate adoption. (“ORPHANS”)
Local Postage – we can post to anywhere in South Africa using the Postnet to Postnet service at a cost of R99.00 for up to two rhino’s. Should your order be more than two rhino’s the cost does increase and is over and above the R400.00 for the actual Rhino. We will get you a quote for larger orders. This option of postage will be billed separately and not on the online store.
International Postage is a bit problematic at the moment and therefore we rely mostly on friends of RRR and family members travelling to be able to post within those specific countries. However, should you wish for us to post to you we can arrange a quote once you have let us know the destination.
As stated above postage is not included in the sale price of the product, this will be quoted to you once we have all the details. Upon receipt of payment or proof thereof I will send you a copy of the postage/courier receipt so that you may track its progress. While I will use Postnet (local) and Send & Receive (International), both private companies, I cannot be held liable should there be a problem with delivery. If you prefer I use a different courier company, please inform me of this and I will source another quote for you.
Alternatively if you are based in Cape Town, we can make an arrangement for collection – CHOOSE LOCAL PICK UP under the shipping option.
